Product Description
While listening to Miles Davis' "The Birth of Cool" might make you feel like a chill cat, there is little correlation between that feeling and the Chillkat boots. Sure, these badboys are equipped with enough traction that you'll feel calm and cool on any surface and incline, but that's where the similarities end. These boots might be the rebirth of cool, if anything, as they not only look sharp, but they serve a purpose. Picture this: You're out for a leisurely Winter walk through the neighborhood on your way to the store to pick up some cocoa and s'mores fixins for your significant other. All of a sudden, BAM! A steep incline of sheer ice. No way around it. What do you do?What you do is, take the proverbial bull by the horns and march right up that hill with the air of arrogance that you could do this in your sleep. Thank the Chillkats on your feet for their help, while you're at it. Get to the store, get your good, makes your way back down the same hill without a second thought, and get home safe with comfort food sustenance. And as you fix up that cocoa, think about who the real hero here is... 2.0-2.2 mm waterproof nubuck and suede combination leather upper Double-adhesive latex, seam-sealed construction 200 grams PrimaLoft Eco insulation Anatomically engineered, injection-molded waterproof TPU shell with forefoot flex grooves AgION antimicrobial dual-density X-2 footbed

By Patrick D. Kumst
Comfortable, Warm, Light. These three words best describe this boot. Yes, it fits snug, and you should buy one size larger than your shoe size. The snug fit is from the insulation in the toe part of the shoe. I have tried other brands like Colombia, Kamik, Sorel, etc. and none feel as comfortable as this. With the others I found them to have little cushioning in the sole and very stiff which makes them hard to walk/drive in. The first thing you notice when wearing the shoe is the plush insulation lining. It hugs your foot, keeping it warm and your toes will not go cold. The shoe has a comfortable insole, is light weight (noticeably more so than the competitve brands), and offers flexability around the ankle without compromising water resistance. A great buy.

By I. Hernandez
This seems to be a well made boot, but I order a half size up after reading the review and it was STILL too small. These run TOO SMALL, Unfortunately will have to return, not sure if we will reorder a bigger size at this moment. Seller should have this disclosed that these are NOT TRUE TO SIZE.

By Shivonte
The shoe is insulated so you must get a size bigger. Over all out was a terrific purchase and will be looking forward to do business again.
