By A. Barnat
The stitching around the toes in the left and right shoe I received is slightly different, effectively making the right shoe about half a size smaller than the left. It took a few days to really notice the problem, but it's enough to be quite annoying now that I'm aware of it. I'm just hoping the left shoe stretches a little as I wear it, making the problem less noticeable.

It appears to be ok as a good all around show but isn't as durable and weatherproof as I had been expecting.

By Nathan
These shoes arrived on time and are very comfortable. The pictures don't do it justice (looks darker), and it is a decent value for the price. There are cheaper options without a vibram sole, but don't get suckered into something with a bad sole. The new balance "absorb technology" is also excellent.
Pros: cheapest option to get a vibram sole and absorb technology (under $120 or so)
Cons: Won't hold up any longer than normal tennis or running shoes. The material looks rugged, but is relevant to the price. (I already have a small rip in the fabric.)
Bottom line: look no further if you want a multisport shoe under $100. If money isn't an problem, then merril will offer a good upgrade from this. If you walk a lot on sharp gravel, or hike a lot, always try to look for either a vibram sole, or an obviously "all-terrain" marketed shoe.
I would definitely recommend this to a friend who needs a light, rugged, multisport shoe with a durable sole. Excellent value!!!
