I have tried every category of Keen shoes and have owned dozens of pairs. These Siskiyous fit so differently from any other Keen. Keen are known for their roomy toe-box fit, and I have always found the brand to have ample cushioning in the sole. These Siskiyous have neither feature. They are drastically narrower in the forefoot and feel like wooden planks. They are simply painful and my feet fall asleep from poor circulation even after weeks of attempting to break them in, which I shouldn't even have to do for this category of shoe (they are my correct size and I'm wearing them laced as loose as possible). I am reconsidering my love for this brand which for years has treated my feet so well. Thanks to these Siskiyous, I am even having second thoughts about ever mail ordering shoes ever again. I'll be trying before I buy from now on. BOO! Avoid these shoes and spend your money on ANYTHING else.

I was a Reebok guy for years. Casual, aerobics, running, it was always Reebok. They were comfortable and cushy and I liked the way they looked. But I always had knee problems that have disappeared with Keen shoes. They are harder initially, but I can stand all day and not have sore knees. I even run in them and don't have sore knees. Just like a soft mattress is maybe not the best for your back, soft shoes are maybe not the best for your feet.

The problem with buying apparel online is that sometimes the fit is off or the picture isn't an accurate representation of color or style. These shoes are spot on! The fit was perfect. I ordered my regular shoe size. They didn't run large or small. The picture is also a perfect representation of the look of the shoes. I also love how sturdy these are. The soles seem impenetrable. I would feel comfortable taking these on a lengthy and rugged hiking trip without having to worry about trashing them. All in all - very good product.
